SUMMARY:Tune into Teaching: Student Perspectives on GenAI from Accessibility Services
DESCRIPTION:Facilitator: Reginald Oey\, Accessible Learning Strategies Team Lead\, Accessibility Services How are students registered with Accessibility Services engaging with generative AI\, and what does that reveal about equity\, access\, and support? This session draws on findings from a student survey conducted by Accessibility Services to explore these questions. In this interactive session\, Reginald Oey\, Accessible Learning Strategies Team Lead\, will share key themes from the survey and open the floor for discussion about the implications for teaching practice and student support at U of T. Learning Outcomes • Learn how students registered with Accessibility Services are engaging with generative AI tools • Explore what survey findings reveal about equity\, access\, and support needs • Consider the implications of these perspectives for teaching practice and student support at U of T
