DESCRIPTION:Presenters:Jordan Holmes\, Senior Manager\, Teaching\, Learning & Technology\, Academic\, Research & Collaborative Technologies Annie Hua\, Manager\, Research & Collaborative Applications\, Academic\, Research & Collaborative TechnologiesJoin the Academic\, Research & Collaborative Technologies team (ARC) for a hands-on information session to explore Cogniti (https://cogniti.ai/)\, a generative AI platform that the University of Toronto is piloting as part of the next phase of the Virtual Tutor Initiative (https://teaching.utoronto.ca/teaching-uoft-genai/genai-tools/#virtual-tutors). Instructors will discover how Cogniti enables the authoring of generative AI virtual tutors tailored for students to engage with course content and facilitate their learning. Cogniti also incorporates key educational features designed for instructors to gain insight into students’ engagement with the platform.
