DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Faculty of Arts & Science Teaching & Learning Initiatives \n\n\n\nREGISTER (Zoom)  \n\n\n\nThe upcoming A&S Teaching & Learning Community of Practice session will showcase two presentations that explore teaching and assessment in the age of generative artificial intelligence (AI): \n\n\n\n“Leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) in education: Use of PrivateGPT for tailored responses to student questions based on course content” — Michelle French\, Professor\, Teaching Stream\, Physiology\, and Nohjin Kee\, Associate Professor\, Teaching Stream\, Physiology \n\n\n\n“Pre-emptive Strategies for Mitigating Generative AI in the Writing Classroom” — Daniel Adleman\, Assistant Professor\, Teaching Stream\, Writing & Rhetoric\, Innis College \n\n\n\nA Q&A and discussion will follow the presentations. \n\n\n\nThe Teaching & Learning Community of Practice (CoP) showcases innovative teaching practices and strategies from Arts & Science instructors.
