DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Centre for Community Partnership \n\n\n\nJoin us for a workshop that will cover the fundamentals of community-engaged learning (CEL) pedagogy and practice and provide practical strategies for designing and running a CEL course. Bring a syllabus that you would like to re-design or the idea for a course you would like to create\, and together we will work on designing a successful CEL course. Agenda· What is CEL?· Why use a CEL approach?· Why use reflection?· How to engage community partners?· How might CEL be a “counternormative” pedagogy?Note: This will be a participatory workshop where attendees will be invited to do some free-writing and some breakout group discussions.Learn more and register for the CEL Course Development Workshop
