SUMMARY:"So What Do I Do Now?" EDIA Practices in Your Classroom and Curriculum: A Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Presented by UTSC’s Centre for Teaching and Learning \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWork on equity\, diversity\, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA) has begun to note the many “invisible” ways in which “just the way we do things” can operate to exclude many people in our classrooms and course/program curricula. How can we address that and change some of what we do in our classrooms and courses? This hands-on workshop\, entitled “So What Do I Do Now? EDIA Practices in Your Classroom and Curriculum\,” and Q&A session invites faculty to bring their syllabi and program curricula and join a broad discussion with colleagues about what we could all do in our separate fields and courses. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis workshop is designed to be a follow-up to the CTL Celebration of Faculty Showcase\, but all are welcome. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nLocation: Hybrid (Zoom and MW223) \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nFacilitator: \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDr. Ann Braithwaite\, Professor and Coordinator\, Diversity and Social Justice Studies\, University of Prince Edward Island \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nREGISTER
