UDL in Practice: Designing for Executive Function

19 March 2027 @ 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm EDT

Details

UDL in Practice is a monthly professional learning series hosted by the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation (CTSI). These 30-minute online sessions create space to think through real teaching questions, challenges, and ideas using a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach.
Each session focuses on an area of course design, such as methods, materials, environments, access, support, or executive function. An invited instructor or staff joins CTSI to bring something they are currently thinking about or working through. There is no expectation of a finished practice or polished example. Together with participants, we explore possibilities, considerations, and trade-offs for designing more accessible, inclusive, and usable learning experiences.
Come as you are and join the conversation. Attend one session or join throughout the year. Each session stands on its own while contributing to a broader conversation about inclusive and accessible teaching. Ideas generated through the series may also inform CTSI’s UDL Strategy Libraries (https://teaching.utoronto.ca/teaching-uoft-udl/udl-practice/).
